This depends on the cooling of the CPUs. If there is concern, the number of eigenThreads can be reduced. This reduces the energy consumption significantly, but the calculation is only slightly affected. Especially with notebooks, the CPUs can be unnecessarily loaded, which could be problematic especially with insufficient cooling. However, so far we haven't encountered any noticeable problems with our servers and laptops.
