Interface Tool - Non-Design Space & Machining Allowance Tool

The Interface Tool is replacing the two separate functions of the Non-Design Spaces and Machining Allowances Tool. The new workflow is to select the Design Space and then select the Interfaces. In the Interface Tool the values for the Non-Design Space Thickness (former Non-Design Space Offset method) and the Machining Allowances is entered. Additionally, an Offset Distance can be defined. Retained Volumes

Retained Volumes are no longer part of the Smooth-Geometry. The parts are still considered in the optimisation but are not materialized in the result. However, the geometries can be visualized in the Post Processing via the Retained Volume Button in the bottom panel.
