Licensing of MSC Apex Generative Design

MSC Apex Generative Design needs at least one Studio license. With this license the Graphical User Interface with CAD functionalities as well as the Optimiser Engine can be used. To calculate on a GPU a Engine GPU license is needed.

For parallel calculation additional Engine or Engine GPU licenses can be purchased. With these additional licenses several Events (load cases) can be calculated parallel if the corresponding number of GPUs and licenses are available. With additional Engine licenses several Graphical User Interfaces and optimisations as well as Command Line optimisations can be executed simultaneously.

MSCOne

MSCOne Token can be used as well to get access to MSC Apex Generative Design. The amount of Tokes which are needed for the different options can be seen in the picture below.
