MSC Apex Generative Design in the Nexus AM Connected Workflow

Since the MSC Apex Generative Design 2022.4 release the connection to the Nexus Platform and the AM Connected Workflow is available. The AM Connected Workflow consists of MSC Apex GD, AM-Studio and Simufact Additive.

Start MSC Apex Generative Design and connect to Nexus. Use your account to sign into Nexus and connect to your personal project area.

Creating a document in Nexus

Create a document in Nexus or select an already existing document and continue your work. Manage your document directly in Nexus.

Material selection in Nexus

Select a material for your document. The material will be imported into the point solution and can be assigned to the Design Space.

Upload your Design Candidate to Nexus

Upload the Design Candidate to continue the AM connected workflow in other point solutions.

Move to other point solutions

Open your project in AM-Studio and create support structures and verify the design in a manufacturing simulation in Simufact Additive.
