The optimization calculates the von Mises stress and also the results inside the postprocessing show the von Mises stress.

The optimization works with different resolution levels and switches between them to achieve best results. The first itertions are calculated on a coarse resolution. With rising number of iterations the resolution gets higher. This means that the first iterations calculates much faster than the last iterations. As well as the size from the output data and the surface quality increases with rising resolution levels.

Furthermore the stress goal depends on the resolution level. On the highest resolution level the requested stress goal will be reached to 100%. On lower resolution levels the stress goal can vary from the requested stress goal.
