  • Description of the Tool

  • The Clearance Region Tool was developed to support the user when creating the Design Space for an optimisation with the Design Space Tool (Link)

  • It is determined to help to ensure that there is enough space between the Design Space and other Parts of an assembly which aren’t included in the optimisation

  • For this the tool generates an offset on chosen surfaces which can be subtracted from the created Design Space
