A Remote Calculation Server can be used as a Remote Solver. Therefore, the Remote Solver software has to be installed on the specified server.
With the MSC Apex Generative Design installer the Remote Solver can be chosen and the respective files will be installed.
While installing the IP-Adress and Port will be determined for the Remote Solver. Additionally to the Remote Solver a corresponding Cuda Driver can be installed to realize GPU Solving. If installation is complete the computer can be used for Remote Solving.
Note: A Server can either be used as a Remote Solver or as the executing Application.
