If the optimization should be calculated on a remote calculation server, the Remote Solver can be activated inside the Applications Settings. Therefore the remote software has to be installed on the remote computer. More information to the install process here.

Inside the Generative Design Solver Settings the Remote Solver can be set to active. To set up the connection a Name, the IP-Adress and the Port has to be added. These information are determined by installing the remote software.

Furthermore the Solver Priority for the Remote Solver can set to GPU or CPU. More to GPU solving here. Certrainly the Complexity value can adjusted for the Remote Solver.

After starting the optimization the whole calculation will run on the remote server. Therefore Apex Generative Design has to be running on the local computer.
