Complexity

The complexity influences the design of the result regarding the degree of detail. The picture below shows the influence the complexity value has on a design.

The higher the value the more detailed results are created. More Struts are being created but also very thin shell structures.

The adjustment of the value can be realized in the Application Settings → Generative Design Solver → Complexity.

We prefer the input of an absolute value in the right field physical Memory. A value of 14 is a good starting point but don’t hesitate to increase the value to realize a finer resolution and a more detailed optimisation result.

Note: The higher the complexity the longer the calculation takes.
