Why does the generation of the Design Space STL-file fail?

If you try to start/export an optimisation and get the error “Failed to generate STL-file for Design_Space_name” or the Design Space is not enclosed in the exported folder, MSC Apex Generative Design isn’t able to create an STL-file as input into the solver. This happens if the CAD Geometry of the Design Space has faults or defects.

Please use the Geometry Cleanup Tool to repair your geometry and try to start/export the optimisation (model) again.
