Scripting
With the scripting application programming interface (API) scripts and macros can be created and executed. These offer the opportunity to run workflow steps completely automatically. For example, a material database can be automatically imported for every new model. For more information have a look here.
The scripting in MSC Apex Generative Design is in general the same as in MSC Apex. There are additional inputs to represent the functions available in Generative Design. The MSC Apex Scripting help is available in the following file:
