Known Limitations
AM Workflow:
Only the result geometries are uploaded to the Nexus project and not the complete MSC Apex Generative Design database. Please share the database separately with your colleague if you want to work on the same model.
The AM Connected Workflow is only available for the Metal Powder Bed Fusion process as of now.
The workflow is only designed for isotropic material behaviour.
12 materials from Simufact Additive database are available to be used.

Multiple part upload is not supported in Nexus. Only one part and its instances are supported for now.

MSC Apex Generative Design 2022.4
One part can be uploaded to the project (nominal or print geometry) and each new upload to an existing project replaces the old geometry.
The material values can be changed in MSC Apex Generative Design in order to fill missing material information. The changes in MSC Apex GD are not synchronized with the Nexus project and therefore not considered by the other products.
The imported build direction from the Nexus document is not set to referenced Principal Coordinate System and used for defining the build direction. Please set the PCS as the active principal coordinate system and create a new scenario.
When importing the build direction from two different document subsequently to the same Apex GD project, the name of the PCSs might be the same.
Due to a localization problem, the KPIs for volume and mass might not be visible in the Nexus document. Set your computer language to English to see the uploaded values. The geometry is uploaded either way and is confirmed with the green tick.
The status bar message during the upload of a geometry to Nexus might be incorrect. When the upload is completed successfully the following message will appear: Upload to nexus completed successfully.
AM-Studio 2023b
Auto nesting with z-rot allowed will not work with nexus - due to creating copies not instances
Supports generated in Simufact Additive will be loaded as "Imported Supports" due to missing metadata (no recalculation possible)
When changing the machine, the supports are always uploaded again (AM-Studio does not know that supports were already uploaded when the machine is changed)
Undo/redo does not sync with Nexus, Nexus operations cannot be undone/redone
Scaling is not applied for Nexus parts in current version (scaling is used to convert from meter to millimeter)
Build File is not uploaded to Nexus document
Fast project switching leads to license blocking of AM-Studio instances due to AM-Studio restart (workaround use SET HOST and SAVE buttons to continue)
Simufact Additive 2022.1
No synchronization is active after locally deleting the part geometry.
The part data (volume and mass) is not shown, when the part geometry is imported in SA. The issue will be resolved in the next release.
The support structure data (support volume) is wrong in the document details, when the support structure geometry is imported in SA. The issue will be resolved in the next release.
Results are not detected for synchronizing (push). Workaround: Create a dummy comment on the Process properties dialogue.
Toggle is not shown in the platform for "Compensated part" when distortion compensation is completed.
Distortion compensation is wrong when considering nested parts from AM Studio.
Changes in the position of nesting instances are not transferred to the Nexus cloud.
The base plate can be changed in Simufact Additive and pushed to the Nexus cloud. This change is not transferred to AM-Studio.
The origin of the coordinate system can be changed in Simufact Additive and pushed to the Nexus cloud. This change is wrong transferred to AM-Studio.
