The following function is highly experimental and currently under development

For the following results of the Jet Engine Bracket optimisation the highly experimental Discouragement Field “Discouragement Field” function was used. This function can improve the capability to avoid hard notches and can be activated using the following Advanced User Settings.:

These Advanced User Settings activate the highly experimental Discouragement Field“Discouragement Field”. If activated, the opimisation is forced to avoid structures which violate the Design Space. Violating the Design Space would cause hard notches when the design candidate is intersected with the original Design Space. Avoiding hard notches helps to reduce peak stresses and distribute the stresses more even.
