Offenses

Invalid Design Part:

The design part requires a single solid body for the solver. Empty parts, non-solid bodies, or multiple solid bodies cannot be analysedanalyzed. This is an Unready offenceoffense. To remedy this situation, modify the part to make sure it has a single solid body using Boolean operations for example.

Missing Design

...

Region:

The solid or cell(s) within the design part are defined as Nonnon-Design Spacesdesign regions, so no Design Space design region is available in the solver. This is an Unready offenceoffense. To remedy this situation, make sure that there is a Design Space design region in the design part.

Non-Existing Design Part:

There is not a design part associated to the study. It cannot be analysed analyzed without a design part. This is an Unready offenceoffense. To remedy this situation, define a design part and associate it to the study.

...

No material has been assigned to the design part. Without a proper material specification for the design part, it cannot be analysedanalyzed. This is an Unready offenceoffense. To remedy this situation, assign a material to the design part.

...

A material is assigned to the design part which is missing critically required material property data values. This is an Unready offenceoffense. To remedy this situation, make sure that Young's Modulus (E), Poisson's ratio, and Density are specified for the design part's material.

Offenses

Missing Constraints

This offence offense exists when no constraints are contained within the current context. A static analysis of this model will fail due to mechanisms.
This is an Unready offenceoffense. If the source is constraints not applied, apply a set of constraints which will hold the structure in all three degrees of freedom and prevent a failure of the solver due to mechanisms. If the source is constraint association missing from scenario, edit the scenario so that at least one constraint is associated.

Missing Loads

This offence offense exists when critically required loads are lacking within the current environment.

This is an Unready offenceoffense. If the source is no loads applied, no loads exist in the current loading environment. Include one to remedy the offenceoffense. If the source is load association missing from scenario, edit the scenario so that at least one load is associated.

...

A load is present within the environment which is defined in such a way that may not yield the intended result.

This is a Suspect offenceoffense. If the source is zero magnitude static load, this static load has a magnitude of zero. It will not provide any energy input to the system.

...

A load is present within the environment which is not fully or validly specified.

This is an Unready offenceoffense. If the source is undefined load, this load is applied to the system, but its definition is not adequate for solver submission. Complete the definition or change to a different definition to remedy this offenceoffense.

Offenses

Undefined Stress Goal:

The stress goal is not defined in the current scenario and the solver cannot proceed. This is an Unready offenceoffense. To remedy this offenceoffense, specify a value for the stress goal in the generative design scenario.

Generative Design Configuration and Representation Offenses

Non-Design Spaces:

The parts/solids for a non-design space should touch the design space. MSC Apex Generative Design will mark the scenario as suspect and list the invalid non-design spaces parts/solids in the AR message

Retained Volumes:

The parts/solids for retained volumes should be touching to the initial design part. For this case, "touching" means intersected or can be boolean merged as one solid at least. MSC Apex Generative Design will mark the scenario as suspect and list the invalid retained volumes parts/solids.

Configuration:

The generative design part should only contain one solid associated with the rep and the associated design space object. If there are multiple solids or any un-related design space in the part, then system will mark it as invalid design part.

If there are unused solids or entities in the configuration during the boolean process then AR will mark the configuration as suspect and list all unused solids or entities.
