Study

A Generative Design Study is a Study for one geometry with the associated boundary conditions.

If For a second geometry e.g. to realize small changes on the geometry are done, a new part can be created inside the model tree with the new solid and new created boundary conditions. For this changed geometry in the Design Space and the associated boundary conditions a second Study can be created and calculated.

Scenario

For one Generative Design Study several Generative Design Scenarios can be created. In each Scenario the optimization optimisation parameters like Strut Density, Shape Quality, Stress goalGoal, Complexity or even Advanced User Settings can be changed and variatedvaried. Moreover, different Events for each Scenario can be selected.

Event

One Event is one load case for the Generative Design Scenario. For each scenario multiple Events can be created . For and for each Event different Loads and Constraints can be assignedselected. All Events will be considered for the optimizationoptimisation. Furthermore, for each Event a specific Stress Goal can be set - further information here. How multiple Events influence the stress is described here.
