In most cases, a "Preview" only takes a few minutes and gives an overview of the design that an optimisation can achieve under the given boundary conditions. It The flow of forces can be observed and thus seen where the flow of forces is located and therefore material is needed. Furthermore, it can be checked whether a load/Event has been forgotten and if the Design Space is chosen well or the design reaches the Design Space limits. This result is not a finished calculation and does not consider the defined Safety Factor and Material Properties, yet. It is a very fast, first shot at the optimisation and can be used to check the boundary conditions and the ratio of the loads to the Safety Factor/Stress Goal.

The "Balanced" optimisation can take up to a few hours, depending on the Boundary Conditions, number of Events and the Complexity of the model. It provides a detailed/high resolution design proposal and the Safety Factor and Material Properties of the optimisation are considered fully.
