Aktualisieren: welche Log files werden noch ausgegeben, wo werden sie gespeichert, was enthalten sie - mehr Infos)? (Siehe Präsi Generative Design Paderborn - Technik\Schulungen\20200218_SupportTeamHamburg)You can find the different log files as well as the result files of the optimization in your workspace. By default your workspace is defined as:
C:\Users\ExampleUser\Documents\MSC_GenDes Workspace
In this folder you can find a folder for each project you have saved. In these you can find your latest optimizations (named after your scenario)
For example: exampleProject/Meshless Generative Design Scenario… .v1
Log file | explanation |
---|---|
log_warning.log | All warnings are saved in here for each iteration (only saved if there is a warning message) |
log_error.log | All errors are saved in here for each iteration (only saved if there is an error message) |
analyse.log | Results of the first FEM analysis and last FEM analysis are saved here |
log_export.log | Gives information about the needed time to export the result files |
log_FEM.log | includes information about hte FEM analysis (like needed memory, love time and needed solvin iterations for each loadcase) |
log_loadConfig.log | Gives information about the used spaces of the optimization model |
log_loop.log | includes information about the time needed for each iteration |
numOfIteration.log | shows how many iterations are being calculated |
config.cfg | Text file with all the inputs for the optimization |
buildSpace_binary_StressAndDis_Loop_… .ply | result files of the optimization |
FunctionOptimizer…Log.log | delivers current and estimated volume of the optimized part Based on voxels and dependent on the current revolution |

All files are available in the project folder in your workspace where the optimization was started. An export out of the program is not necessary since all files are saved during the optimization in the project folder.
There are several export options for the geometry data available and several log files are saved automatically.
